Orby doesn't hold your money or replace your broker. It connects to your Deriv account and trades for you, following the strategy you choose. Before any bot can run, you need to build that bridge. Here's how.

Before you start

You'll need three things:

  • A Deriv account (the broker). If you don't have one, create it at deriv.com.
  • An Orby account — it's free.
  • Five minutes and some attention: read each screen before confirming.

The step-by-step

  1. Log into your Orby account and go to Dashboard.
  2. Click Connect Deriv. You'll be taken to Deriv's official login screen.
  3. Authorize the connection. Orby receives an access token — never your password.
  4. Done: your account shows up connected, with balance and currency.

Orby never sees your Deriv password. Authorization happens on Deriv itself, and you can revoke access whenever you want.

Demo or Real: start with demo

Deriv gives you two account types: demo (play money, for practice) and real. Our honest recommendation is to start on demo. Run the strategy for a few days, understand how it behaves through ups and downs, and only move to real when you're comfortable — and with an amount you can afford to lose without it affecting your life.

If something goes wrong

If the connection drops or the balance doesn't update, just reconnect. For security, the Deriv token expires from time to time; reconnecting fixes it in most cases.

Connected? The next step is picking a strategy — and it's well worth understanding how each one thinks before you switch the bot on.
